Word Vine is a free online phonics game for EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Children grow a vine of real words by changing one sound at a time — substituting a sound, adding a sound, or snipping a sound away — to climb from a start word up to a goal word. It builds blending, segmenting and phoneme manipulation across CVC words and digraphs such as sh, ch, ng, ck, ee, oo and oa. No login, nothing uploaded, works on Chromebooks.
